Pokémon products in Simplified Chinese (S-CHN) contain the same characters and mechanics as the English ones, but the cards are printed in Chinese and belong to a separate distribution channel. They are usually more affordable and have exclusive artwork and sets, but they are not legal in official tournaments run on English-language sets. Choose the Chinese edition for collecting and opening, and the English edition if you play competitively.

Are Chinese cards genuine?
